Inventive puzzler Baba Is You comes to iOS and Android
Hempuli has now released its creative puzzle game Baba Is You on mobile. The game, which was previously exclusive to PC and Switch, is now available for iOS and Android devices.
Baba Is You is an inventive puzzler where you need to manipulate a physical group of words in order to reach a goal. You play as the titular Baba, and must work out how to reach each goal through the changing of these rules.
For example, there might be a level in which you need to reach a flag represented by the “FLAG IS WIN” words, except the flag is walled up and inaccessible. You can move these words around to change the rules of the level including “FLAG IS YOU” to mean you no longer play as Baba but rather the flag itself, or getting rid of “WALL IS STOP” which means you can pass through the wall and reach the goal.Baba Is You is available on iOS and Android, for USD 6.99$! It sounds more complicated than it behaves, but the game is genuinely one of the most creative puzzlers of the last few years. There’s loads of potential for different level ideas that never gets old, even across 200+ stages that the mobile version launches with. The below trailer can better show you how it works.
Baba Is You originally launched on PC and Nintendo Switch two years ago, and the expansion to mobile marks the first new platforms the game has come to since its original release.
